It seems to be isolated to internet explorer as using google chrome doesn't seem to have the same problems and If I don't open IE and just use Chrome it doesn't seem to kick in with the laggy internet and high fan speed. When i googled solutions or topics the links would redirect me to the wrong address and my internet speeds took a huge hit. A pop up kept jumping out saying to update java. But after that lag spike things got worse. AVG secure search coming up sometimes when i searched from the bing toolbar.

I had been having some minor but odd things with my Internet explorer recently. At that point the game was so laggy and my ping was insanely high when i'm normally very low. I noticed the problems last night, i was playing a game online and after that i was doing some searches for about 30 minutes then went back to another game. This one doesn't have any easy identifiers that i can see so I'm kind of lost. I've had malware on my system before but it usually gives me something i can google and fix on my own. I quarantined it all but i'm thinking it's going to take more than that to get rid of it. Malware bytes didn't find anything but SuperAntiSpyware found a ton of stuff. I have some sort of browser hijacker that's causing me grief.
